Deferred Membership Dues Program for Unemployed Members of RCARecognizing the hardships that some RCA members may be experiencing due to the economic recession, the RCA Board of Directors recently approved to offer deferred complimentary membership to members of the association who have recently lost their jobs. “If you are currently unemployed, you need your RCA benefits more than ever,” says RCA Immediate Past President Harry J. Crane. “Networking is one of the most important benefits of RCA membership, and staying in touch with colleagues is critical in securing employment.” Board Member “Chef J” Hugh McEvoy agrees that a show of support for our fellow members is fundamental to a strong association and industry. “Our members are important to us and we want them to know that we are committed to their long term success in this industry,” he says. The Deferred Membership Dues Program applies to unemployed RCA members in good standing for membership year 2010/11, and is available to members who have lost full-time employment and are presently seeking full-time employment. Upon gaining employment, the member will remit annual dues to RCA. For application and details, contact Laura Wilkins by e-mail or at (678) 303-3044. |
