Translating Healthy Trends into Compelling New Products

The role of both whole, natural foods and nutritionally functional ingredients in addressing healthy product development for today’s consumers. This event will highlight the whole, natural ingredients & foods alongside the nutritional supplements that are influencing today’s product development challenges. Three concurrent mini sessions will be presented by product development scientists at Merlin Development in conjunction with Penford Food Ingredients:

1. Wellness  Trends – whole foods and naturally functional foods with a focus on Ancient Grains.

2. Nutritional supplements - Formulation tips and techniques highlighting Omega 3 fatty acids.

3. Gluten-free products - Challenges and techniques of successful product development.

4. Product sampling, beverages and a light buffet will be served.
