Event Details:
Healthy eating can be quite challenging for busy individuals and families.  Join Chef Michelle Sugiyama as she discusses quick, tasty, and nutrient-rich dishes food that will keep your brain and body healthy and energized.  You will also get to sample some delicious dishes and receive helpful culinary tips.    Michelle Sugiyama was born to cook but like most confused young adults, she took a different path.  She received a Master's Degree in chemistry from the Ohio State University and over the course of ten years, worked for two major chemical companies.  After much deliberation, she enrolled at Le Cordon Bleu and became a top honors graduate with an internship at a Michelin starred restaurant in Avignon, France.  Michelle's mission is to make a positive difference in people's lives and teaches healthy eating and cooking classes at small to Fortune 100 companies.See Michelle’s website at http://www.mindful-eating.com 

Agenda:6:00 -7:00 PM: Networking, Cocktails, Appetizers and Tour: Culinary Farms President Kirk Bewley will guide visitors through the Culinary Farms facility.  Network with fellow food industry professionals while sipping cocktails concocted by Northwest Naturals Research Chef Steve Corson-Appetizers developed by RCA chefs also served.  7:00 – 8:00 PM: “Mindful Eating For Busy People- A Culinary Demonstration” 8:00 PM: Stay longer for some healthy grazing featuring Michelle's dishes, lots of hordourves and decadent desserts from RCA pastry chef and owner of Galaxy desserts Jean Yves Charon.
